Originally from Florida, Meagan is a dual licensed cosmetologist and barber. She has specialized in event styling since 2016. Over the years she has provided services for countless weddings, photo shoots, film and photography projects, and more. From 2017 until she moved to Savannah in 2021 she was the head of the hair and makeup department for an Emmy Award winning production studio, The Studio Creative a Group, regularly providing services for client headshots, commercials, film, international ad campaigns, and more. Passionate about education, she studied in New York City in 2018 at the Temptu headquarters where she obtained a certification in airbrush makeup. Later in 2018 she attended a Master Class hosted by Sir John, Beyoncé’s makeup artist, where she grew her skills further. In 2020, right before the pandemic began, she attended a master class hosted by three of the worlds leading experts in Russian Updo styling. Now she is a painting major at Savannah College of Art and Design. While this may not seem directly relevant to the world of beauty, she has been amazed to see just how much art influences her work as a stylist. Whether that’s using her skill in color theory to perfectly match a skin tone, or approaching an updo as sculpture, the tie overs between the two go hand and hand.
