Michelle Royal founded the first Royal Makeup & Hair team in Savannah, GA in 2014.
Prior to that, she worked as a model and a makeup & hair artist in New York City. She was also the events & training coordinator for Sephora in Times Square, NYC for many years, where she was extensively trained on a variety of makeup and hair-care brands and application techniques, including airbrush and special effects. Michelle also worked as a makeup artist for NARS Cosmetics and was honored to do makeup for actress, Molly Ringwald.
Michelle has taught makeup application and hair styling lessons for John Casablanca’s Modeling Centers and for hundreds of clients independently as well as through Sephora and NARS. Michelle has done hair & makeup for Bravo’s TV shows, as well as over 600 weddings, numerous photo shoots, runway shows, proms and other events. Her makeup artistry was featured on the cover of The Vow magazine as well as hair and makeup artistry featured throughout the pages of several issues of Savannah Weddings Magazine, Savannah Soiree and several wedding blogs and online publications. She has all the tools and skills to bring out your best features for your special occasion, photo shoot, or wedding.
She currently organizes bookings for our Savannah & Hudson Valley branches and serves as a makeup artist and hair stylist in the Hudson Valley and NYC.
