To ease your mind a bit about some precautions we are taking with Covid-19. We always sanitize our brushes in between each client, sanitize our hands, and avoid double dipping in any cream or liquid based products, using disposable mascara wands, depotting product as needed, etc. So, while we always practice these sanitary guidelines, we will be sure during this time to be even more diligent.
In addition, I have asked all of our team members to let me know if they are feeling even a bit under the weather and will be having other artists on our team fill in if needed. The artist on site will be wearing a mask for the duration of the appointment, as long as they are able to do so. We ask that if you are receiving services, that you wear a mask when possible, during hair and for most of the makeup application. Our artists have all been sanitation certified, and most have recently taken and passed the Barbicide course on Covid-19 specifically.
We ask that no more than 10 people be in the room where services are being performed, and that everyone keep social distancing guidelines in mind as much as possible.
Our artists may need to start a bit earlier than usual to allot extra time for additional sanitation of work areas, or outdoor breaks from wearing the mask.
If you have any questions, please let me know via the Contact page.
As of 6/20/21, mask mandates have been lifted. If you would still like to request your artists wear a mask, please message us ahead of time.

We frequently are asked our advice when it comes to hair extensions. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide or directly sell hair extensions. However, here is a linkto purchase our recommended extensions.
We do offer clip in hair extension placement and styling for your big day. If you think you might like them, I have a few recommendations before you shop.
We recommend clip-in extensions, as we can place them where needed for the exact style you’d like, and hide them well. Halo style extensions are not as secure, don’t blend with your natural hair as easily, and sometimes, depending on the hairstyle you choose, can be difficult to hide.
Please ensure that you purchase 100% human hair. We cannot use heat tools on synthetic hair. Even if the package says human hair, it may be a blend of only 10-30% human hair, and the rest, synthetic plastic fibers, which could melt when used with a curling iron. Look for packages that say can be used with heat tools.
Also be sure that they have not been chemically straightened. Sometimes even if it is 100% human hair, they are originally curly or kinky strands that they chemically straighten. These will not hold any curl.
Most packages of clip-in extensions will come with a variety of widths so that they can be placed accordingly. When determining the length to purchase, measure your longest hair strands from the base of your neck down to the ends of your hair. We recommend purchasing extensions no more than 5″ longer than your hair. Any longer than that will be difficult to blend.
Some hair extensions have a wax or other similar product coating on the hair to help it look shiny and new in the packaging. Be sure to wash your hair extensions to remove this coating prior to use. Washing them first will help the hair to look more natural, blend in with your hair more seamlessly and also help them to hold curl well. You can use your regular shampoo and conditioner to wash them. Then gently comb them with a wide toothed comb and lay flat on a towel to dry.
There isn’t a specific brand that we recommend. but as long as you make sure whichever ones you’re going to buy are 100% human hair and not chemically straightened you should be fine!
Happy hair shopping!

We receive variations of this question quite frequently. Which type of foundation is better? Which would you recommend? What is the difference?
This post will hopefully clear up some of the confusion. We recommend airbrush for the majority of our clients and some of our artists swear by airbrush as the best option so much so that they have begun to exclusively offer airbrush.
Long Wear Traditional What is it? A thick liquid foundation, formulated to last at least 8 hours. Brands we use, Stila, Lancome, Sephora. How is it applied? Applied using a brush, and sometimes blended with a makeup sponge. We typically blend a few colors together to create your custom shade. What about the coverage/wear? It is a medium to full buildable coverage, and also a heavier feel on the skin. Great in cooler months, not so great in the heat and humidity. Be careful of possible transfer onto clothes. Who do you recommend it to? Clients with mature (deep set wrinkle) skin, severe acne, or clients who desire a heavier coverage, and heavier feel to the makeup.
Airbrush What is it? A thin liquid foundation specifically formulated to be used in an airbrush, blown through an airbrush gun using an air compressor, formulated to last at least 16 hours, and water-resistant. Brand we use; TEMPTU. How is it applied? We typically mix a few colors together to create your custom shade. The makeup is blown through an airbrush gun using an adjustable air compressor. It feels like a light wind is blowing on your face. It is refreshing and cooling. It is a fine mist with a precise stream. It will not spray onto your clothes or hair. What about the coverage/wear? Using the airbrush we can control the coverage from a very light finish, to a heavier coverage. Your skin will feel breathable, like you aren’t wearing any makeup. It wears great in heat and humidity, through sweat and rain. Will not transfer onto clothes. Who do you recommend it to? The majority of clients will love the look and feel of airbrush. It is great for most skin types and anyone who wants to look naturally flawless. Not recommended for very mature clients with deep set wrinkles, clients with heavy peach fuzz or those looking for a very heavy coverage.
